Now it's been some time since we've seen any new features come into beta, so I'm happy to announce that today we have a couple of little additions involving thumbnails for everyone to try out
Comments Count on Thumbnails
We love to encourage users to leave feedback on art they like, as it's always nice to see users appreciating each-others work.
Now we've made it even easier for you to spot that wonderful masterpiece
so that you can give it the attention it deserves

Under deviation thumbs in gallery, favourites and when browsing the site you will see the comments count for the deviation
Galleries at a Glance
On the subject of thumbnails we've also added some info informing you which galleries the deviation is in
So now thumbs really give you more details at your fingertips
More to Come!
If these new features have wet your appetite for more then don't despair!
We'll have even more exciting features coming your way soon, for both dA muro and the rest of deviantART
Tell Us what You Think
We want to know your opinion on these new features, so go and give them a try by going to the deviantART Homepage or a user's gallery then come back and leave a comment on this blog
Having a problem?
If something isn't working quite right for you or you find a bug, make sure to report it to the Thumb Enhancements project in the issue tracker and we'll make sure that we fix up any problems as quickly as we can
Stay devious
$DEVlANT

I like the "galleries at glance" though.
very good idea ....
what i mean is: wouldnt be great to add the additional information concerning faving the artwork ?

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." (A. Einstein) ...
I mean, what good does it give you to know how many comments a piece has? The only thing that'll be clear is whether it's popular or not.
I think that, while useless updates are being worked on, useful updates should be thougt over, like the practicity that typing "tab -> enter" gives you when commenting AND responding. /really misses that
When I hit tab I don't expect to end up at the top of the page. Implementation of the tab order is actually quite easy! I'm surprised they keep overlooking this?

At least when commenting it's ok, right? ;v;

I also support adding in the number of views or the number of downloads below a preview thumbnail, but only on the user's gallery page.
Overall, I think that the improvements to dA are great, even in the last few weeks that I've been a registered member.
