Personally I browse with it on. Mainly as some things can be really, really disturbing or too sexual, and I just don't want that popping up on my screen. I like to be forewarned and then I can choose if I want to see it or not.
Keep mine on. This is pretty much because I find it incredibly awkward when a naked woman (Or something else mature in that way xD) comes up on screen and my mum might see it. Course I'm 19 so.. There's nothing wrong with it, and I wouldn't get into trouble, but it's just one of those family things, y'know?
-Pats Mature content filter- Whose a good filter?!
I'm a 62 yr. old gay man, and what I haven't seen/done already, I like to find out about. 'Nuff said?
Unless you're very young, or have kids you don't want seeing such stuff, or have religious beliefs which decide these matters for you, then I really can't see what the heck all these prudes have to object to. You don't want to see it, read it, or hear it, don't look, and plug your ears.
I'm constantly exposed to really awful 'music' throughout my working day, and I can't turn it off... Where's MY choice there?
i can't turn it off i'm 16 i really wanna see some dirty stuff in my young age to get me ready for when i older to not what's coming when i'm 18 this upsets me, i really wanna see a lot of the nude fan art.
I leave mature filter Off because it not only blocks the "really" mature "artwork", but also the ones that contain anatomical or artistic nudity. Which is fine, and would include a good % of the character models uploaded to the 3D clubs I've joined.
It would be nice to have multiple filter tiers though (ex: mature + adult). A few club and front page/newest artworks have given me fresh mental scars to recover from
On, my only computer is in the living room, and I'm afraid I might click on a link or start browsing and there is a complete nude picture and my mom would see and be like "What are you looking at?!?!".
I used to browse with it off...until recently, because I didn't want to weird my roommate out with the occasional mature picture that comes up on my screen when I browse, I turned it off. Whether or not I turn it on again will depend on how squeamish my next roommate will be.
